U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln Congressional Records, 1999  I would like to honor the Leadership Training Institute, which originated in Arkansas, for its commitment to training youth in principles that have proven to produce America’s greatest leaders. I am pleased that Arkansas has such an exemplary program that is meeting the needs of our nation’s youth. The Leadership Training Institute educates youth in the lessons of our forefathers, their legacies, their wisdom, and their experiences. This training is based on morality, integrity, and responsibility and prepares our youth for their futures as leaders in their homes, communities, and government. Good leaders are people of faith as well as people of science. The Leadership Training Institute prepares youth for moral challenges and equips them with scientific reasoning skills. Our youth need the training provided by the Leadership Training Institute and programs like it. I commend the dedicated staff of the Leadership Training Institute and hope for its continued success. |
