Young leaders in Washington DC to meet presidential hopefuls.

Students from five states met in Washington DC June 23 through June 30 for the 2007 Leadership Training Institute of America national conference.

The Leadership Training Institute of America (LTIA) is a faith-based educational training organization that provides high school and college age students with training in Biblical world view studies, cultural dynamics, and leadership values. Every year students are introduced to leaders who share their personal experiences in leadership roles and responsibilities.

Speakers this year included Howard Phillips (Chairman of the Conservative Caucus and three time Presidential nominee for the Constitution Party); presidential hopefuls congressman Ron Paul and Senator Sam Brownback; Congressman John Boozman; Wendy Wright (President of Concerned Women for America); Jim Henderson of the American Center for Law & Justice; Phil Sheldon of Rightmarch.com; Joshua Scheiderer of AdvanceUSA, and others.

LTIA offers a full week of world view socio/political, moral, religious, and character training for high school and college age youth. Students develop in critical thinking skills, study world view agendas and strategies, network with significant leaders, and receive personal training in character and leadership skills. Through lectures, discussion groups, tours of the Capitol, and hands on training, Students are equipped to effectively provide leadership with a Biblical worldview.

The Leadership Training Institute recognizes that America’s greatness is testimony to a culture built upon a Biblical worldview and that for the success of our families, churches, and communities, youth must be trained to lead, building their lives upon the truths of the Bible.
