Founder of LTIA

Patrick R. Briney, Ph.D.

Dr. Briney founded the Leadership Training Institute of America in response to the need for youth to be prepared for world view warfare in contemporary culture. LTIA seeks to equip youth with Bible centered knowledge and skills of reason. Prior to founding LTIA, he was director of the Arkansas Youth Leadership Summit (AYLS) ministry.

Building on the foundation of faith in Jesus Christ, traditional American heritage, and Biblical authority, Dr. Briney teaches students how to effectively communicate Biblical truths to a secular world. Effective persuasion that favors Biblical teachings and that preserves Bible believers on today’s battlefield of warring ideologies and scientific authority demand reasoned answers that explain why as well as what students believe in secular terminology.

During his junior year of college as a premed student, Dr. Briney actively participated in the college ministry of the Mission Boulevard Baptist Church teaching Bible studies and serving as the outreach director. Eventually he surrendered to the call of God to the mission field of college campuses and devoted himself to intensive Biblical study and training. As a result of the campus ministry, students from all over the world have been saved and discipled resulting in preachers, missionaries, deacons, Christian educators, politicians, lawyers, doctors, housewives, engineers, scientists, and families raising children for the Lord.

During the first four years of ministry on campus, he earned his Ph.D. degree in microbiology. As a graduate student, Dr. Briney organized and served as president of the Creation Science Society at the University of Arkansas. Presently, he conducts Creation Insights Seminars, World View Warfare seminars, and Discipleship seminars across the nation. As Discipleship Director, he organized and directed the annual Summer Training and Mission Program (STAMP) for youth and the annual discipleship conferences sponsored by the Mission Boulevard Baptist Church.

Politically, he serves as president of the Arkansas Republican Assemblies, was co-founder of the League of Independent Voters, volunteers service for conservative candidates, and founded the Center for Leadership Development providing professional services for community leadership development and maintenance of a conservative voter database. He also serves on the advisory board of the Arkansas Chapter of the Christian Coalition and chaplain of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies.

Presently, Dr. Briney volunteers as a science teacher and serves as the science department chairman in the Fayetteville Christian Schools in a continuing effort to prepare youth for life as Christians who know why as well as what they believe.

He also teaches weekly Bible studies in the community and at the University of Arkansas and mentors Sunday school teachers. He was the producer and host of two radio programs Bible Dynamics and Life Changing Scriptures and two television programs Personal Testimonies and Smart Choices. He presently fields questions from around the world as the On-line Bible Answerman via the Internet. In addition, Dr. Briney has authored study guides, pamphlets, books, videos, and training manuals on a variety of subjects; and is editor of the LTIA monthly newsletter.

LTIA is changing the world and shaping the future by inspiring leaders to defend Biblical world view principles, develop in critical thinking skills,  study world view agendas and strategies, network with influential leaders, aspire to leadership roles, and excel in Biblical leadership qualities.
